Our acting classes for kids focus on providing top-level workshops, and curriculum specifically created for the working child actor and children interested in pursuing acting. Our coursework is approved by both current industry professionals and licensed educators, and designed to be easily learned, remembered, and impactful.

By paying for a month, you agree to the following:
3-month minimum commitment.
Tuition charges will continue on the same day each month unless you provide notice to info@talktothecamera.com that you wish to cancel. Monthly tuition costs the same as attending 3 classes. Monthly tuition is always the same, regardless of how many classes fall in that month. There will always be at least 3. Usually there will be 4, and sometimes there will be 5 class sessions in a month, depending on how the calendar falls.
To cancel a class after the initial 3 month period: 30 days written notice from renewal date must be sent to info@talktothecamera.com or your instructor.
Taught by actor and comedian, Matthew Harris, this course provides a curriculum specifically created for the working kid actor and kids interested in pursuing an acting career.
Kids learn: Character development, acting techniques for all on-camera mediums, scene work, monologues, and improv skills.
This advanced class includes "Booking the Room", agent relationships, booking acting jobs, marketing yourself, dealing with rejection/emotions, on set etiquette, professionalism.
Do you have kiddos that love to sing, dance and act? Do they think about being on Broadway?! Then our Musical Theater class is the antidote! We will dig into the fun and timeless art of Musical Theater! Kids will learn the specific skills of performing on-stage, including; choosing a role, auditioning, acting while singing, vocal health, and more. We’ll work with each student to record a performance! Through various techniques and singing songs from Broadway shows and famous movie musicals, kids become more confident as a performer and as a person. Hamilton, here we come!

In this class, students will create, write, and perform a short play. Utilizing techniques employed by classroom educators, students will learn story structure as they conceptualize and craft their scripts. Constructive feedback is provided in a safe and supportive environment and students will be encouraged to learn the constructive feedback style to empower themselves and fellow actors. Once scripts are finalized, students will then learn about casting for their play, as well as some basic directing techniques to bring their script to life. There will be rehearsals, and when appropriate, discussions regarding costumes and sets. In addition to the work done in class, there will also be weekly assignments related to the task at hand.
Pre-requisite: Must be able to read and write independently.
Your child will learn the “Do’s and Don’ts” of a live audition, selecting the right monologues for their age range, how to dress for audition success, and how to correctly format a resume. They'll go through extensive coaching and receive a filmed audition tape.
