Taught by Talk to the Camera Co-Founder and SAG/AFTRA actress, Audrey Walters, this course provides TOP level learning, with a curriculum specifically created for the working kid actor and/ or kids interested in pursuing an acting career.
Kids learn: Character development, acting techniques for all on-camera mediums, scene work, monologues, and improv skills.
Do you have kiddos that love to sing, dance and act? Do they think about being on Broadway?! Then our Musical Theater class is the antidote! We will dig into the fun and timeless art of Musical Theater! Kids will learn the specific skills of performing on-stage, including; choosing a role, auditioning, acting while singing, vocal health, and more. We’ll work with each student to record a performance! Through various learning techniques and singing songs from Broadway shows and famous movie musicals, kids become more confident as a performer and as a person.
*Kids will receive their professionally edited musical performance video a few weeks after the final session (assuming each student shares their footage in a timely manner).

This class is ideal for beginners as well as more advanced students. The goal is to enhance writing and performance skills while developing a tight 5 minute set. Each student will have the opportunity to receive constructive feedback from the instructor and their classmates, in a safe environment that is judgment free.

When possible, students will be asked to submit written material to the instructor prior to class for individual feedback and editing. Class will culminate with live Zoom performance that friends and family may be invited to.

Manager, Peter Scott of Torque Entertainment. This experience is designed to be real-world educational, aiming to increase your families’ comfort level when seeking representation. There is no guarantee that any actor in the class will be signed for representation, but Torque Entertainment will earnestly consider each person.The marketing side of acting requires some parent participation, to ensure your kiddo’s success. Each class includes useful preparation for Kid Actors in the Zoom Room, while parents are invited to a breakroom for a Q & A. Class Min - 8

Her depth and breadth of experience provides a 360 view of what WORKS in the Self Tape. Here is what this course will do for your Kid Actor....
In this class, students will create, write, and perform a short play. Utilizing techniques employed by classroom educators, students will learn story structure as they conceptualize and craft their scripts. Constructive feedback is provided in a safe and supportive environment and students will be encouraged to learn the constructive feedback style to empower themselves and fellow actors. Once scripts are finalized, students will then learn about casting for their play, as well as some basic directing techniques to bring their script to life. There will be rehearsals, and when appropriate, discussions regarding costumes and sets. In addition to the work done in class, there will also be weekly assignments related to the task at hand.
Pre-requisite: Must be able to read and write independently.
This advanced class includes "Booking the Room", agent relationships, booking acting jobs, marketing yourself, dealing with rejection/emotions, on set etiquette, professionalism.
Your child will learn the “Do’s and Don’ts” of a live audition, selecting the right monologues for their age range, how to dress for audition success, and how to correctly format a resume. They'll go through extensive coaching and receive a filmed audition tape.
